Thomas Johnson Middle School is one of the Project Lead The Way middle schools in Prince George’s County Public School System.  TJMS started the implementation of Gateway To Technology as a STEM program in August of 2012.  Gateway is a middle school curricular program of Project Lead The Way that provides engineering curriculum for middle school students.  The students are exposed to rigorous, engaging and relevant experiences through activity, project, and problem-based learning.  The project based curriculum provides students opportunities to use industry-leading technology to solve problems while gaining skills in communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, and creativity.

This year the school will integrate STEM in all content area.  The Gateway To Technology and other STEM activities of Thomas Johnson Middle School aim to ignite the interest of students in STEM careers.

This website will highlight the STEM activities of Thomas Johnson Middle School.
