Jahzara Taylor is a smart, active young girl who at the start has no interest in STEM.  Then, after she experienced solving challenges and hands-on activities she became passionate on every STEM activities.  She is a good leader and high achiever.  She always submits excellent homework and projects.  She has good writing skills.  She hopes to be a journalist/STEM professional someday.  Her good leadership, teamwork, and academic excellence made her an ideal member of the MESA team.

 

 

OUTSTANDING STEM SCHOLARS

Mrs. Rayela's STEM Class

Kent Bryan Delos Reyes is an outstanding STEM scholar.  He is very creative, smart, friendly, and bright young man.  He has many skills but is especially good at computer.  He pays attention to the lesson and gives his best effort.  Kent always wants to excel in everything he does.  He is very active in STEM activties.  He particiapted as a STEM ambassador in Career Summit and Academic Showcase sponsored by PGCPS.  He is a constant winner in Final Frontiers, where he won third in Lunar  Bridge competition (2013) and this year he won 3rd place in Mass driver and 2nd place in Mystery event.   Kent is part of the TJMS Science Bowl team, Lego Team and MESA Team.  Kent is very much interested in computer, he explores computer designs and games and builds robots.  His team won the robot design contest during the STEM family night.  With his creative and innovative mind he can be a computer expert in the future.  His intelligence, good behavior and leadership make him ideal to be the “STEM Student of the Month”.

 

 

Kenya Fox joined the STEM class this year. A very smart and bright young girl who always wants to excel in every thing she does.  She has a strong sense of leadership and creativity. She is very competitive, hardworking and very respectful scholar.  She is active in STEM activities like Final Frontiers where she won 1st place in Mass Driver competition and 2nd place in slow roller design and mystery event.  Kenya is also part of the the TJMS Science Bowl Team, Lego and MESA.  She is one of the STEM ambassadors who proudly present the STEM program of the school during the academic career summit sponsored by PGCPS.  Kenya’s academic skills and creative mind will help her to become a famous engineer someday.
