STEM Integrations 1 Course

First year - Pilot students are students at Oxon Hill Middle School and Thomas Johnson Middle School.
STEM Integrations 1 is a course designed to allow students to use learned content to generate processes, select tools and hone skills to solve a problem of practice. Utilizing a problem based learning approach, students will create and articulate solutions to problems of practice that require a transdisciplinary approach.

This course is for all entering 6th grade students at our STEM middle schools. It is a part of a 3 year rollout plan of STEM courses at the middle school level. STEM Integrations 6, STEM Integrations 7 and STEM Integrations 8. STEM Integration - 1 is a semester course.
